Bob Batchelor, Chief Executive Officer, dubbed One Marina the “most ambitious” project to date. Palm Cay’s offerings include 24 hour security, a fitness centre, half-size Olympic swimming pool, boat tours, bike trail, children’s park, dockside café and beach bar and grill.

“Not only are we here to make money for my shareholders, but we want to forge a really good partnership with the community. We’re investing back in the community and our own resort. It’s good to see the kids here.

“We want to continue the partnership.  [We have] lots of ideas to demonstrate that it’s not just about profit but it’s also about giving something back.”

Minister Bannister congratulated the developers and wished them the “very best” in their project.
