Bears Win Another Soccer Title

The Insurance Management Bears led by Coach Larry Minns and star player Nesley Jean won yet another title to add to their historic dominance the past decade in The Bahamas Football Association .

 The Bears beat the Dynamos Football Club 4-2 in the Knock out Cup this past Sunday at the Roscoe Davies Playing Field in the Baillou Hills Sports Complex.

For the Bears Shawn Simms put them on the score board first with a goal in the 7th minute. Jean gave his team a two goals lead when he penetrated the net in the 40th minute.  Lesly St. Fleur scored soon after in the 45th minute as the Bears took a 3-0 lead into the halftime. 

In the second half the Dynamos tried to mount a valiant comeback with goals by Wilney Pierre in the 55th minute and Jackner Luis in the 69th minute but it fell short and St. Fleur sealed the victory with his second goal coming in the 84th minute.

Jean was named the leagues MVP after finishing a remarkable season tied with St. Fleur with 16 goals.  The Bears took all Senior League team honours.
