Johnson WINS comeback fight

Pro Boxer Taureano Johnson recently made a successful return to the ring after being absent for over a year.  Johnson stopped Fabiano Pena in Rd 2 with a left hook combination.

Johnson said he was pretty eager to enter the ring after such a long time off, but says he was reminded by his team that he is the IBF #1 ranked middleweight contender.

Johnson said it was a tough road back from the rotator cuff injury and that he is glad to get the nerves about the injury out of the way and he is now ready to face the top contenders with a goal of getting a shot at Gennady Golovkin the current middleweight world champion who defeated Daniel Jacobs by decision at Madison Square garden on March 18th to hold on to his title.
