Bahamas to Host CARIFTA Waterpolo

NASSAU, The Bahamas -- History will be made on Friday, April 7 to Sunday, April 9 when the country hosts, for the first time ever, CARIFTA Waterpolo at the Betty Kelly-Kenning Swimming Complex. 

Close to 30 Caribbean countries will participate in the 2017 CARIFTA Games. 

At a press conference at the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, April 5, the Minister, the Hon. Dr. Daniel Johnson (second from right) congratulated Waterpolo Head Coach Laszlo Borbely (third from right) on hosting polo here in The Bahamas. 

Minister Johnson expressed support on behalf of the Government and the Ministry and encouraged Bahamians to attend and pull for Team Bahamas.
